I established Papers by Popple Stone Press in 2010 and consider myself fortunate to be able to work from my home studio here in beautiful Downeast Maine. Working in the medium of paste paper offers limitless possibilities in both color and design. I strive to create papers with depth and movement and it's such great fun to see the unique qualities in each finished sheet. I then craft my papers into star-shaped luminaria. Each luminary is origami folded, an exacting process that also brings me great joy. What can I say--I LOVE working with paper! Luminaria by Popple Stone Press are one-of-a-kind pieces. They are decorative and elegant in daylight, but the glow from candlelight intensifies their colors and unique designs. Two sizes of paste paper luminaria and acid-free artists' papers are available through my Zibbet.com shop. Gift wrapping papers are offered as sets of three 24 X 34" sheets.
